Dear QEHS Parents and Guardians,
Knights’ Notes is a day early due to our non-instructional day tomorrow. Tomorrow, our teachers and support staff will be engaging in professional learning opportunities connected to increasing student engagement in learning through a culture of well-being, rich task design, and responsive assessment practices.
This week marks the halfway period of the 2025/2026 school year. We had a smooth start to semester 2 and students have already settled into their term 3 classes.
Junior High Volleyball is underway, and we hosted teams this week in the main gym. Go Knights! We also welcomed our little buddies from the Hillhurst Community Centre for some games and art activities in our Student Gathering Area. The grade 9 leaders did a great job keeping the little ones engaged- so much fun!
Next week, we look forward to our student-led Culture Week, which is an opportunity to learn about the cultures of the students in our community and celebrate our diversity. I am excited to see the student-led booths representing different cultures through music, food, and art.
With gratitude,
Jennifer Edmondson-Neily
Principal
