Dear QEHS Parents and Guardians, 

I am excited to share that our Robotics team has made it to the provincial competition in Red Deer on February 28 and March 1. The team assembled this year and is one of only three CBE high schools that are moving on to provincials!  Equally exciting is that our debate team will be competing at regionals this weekend with ambitions to move on to provincials and then nationals.  Go Knights!

GATE Parent Education Session & General Meeting 

GATE Calgary will be having a Parent Education Session on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 7:00pm entitled "Giftedness Beyond Grade Levels: Understanding Growth and Challenge in Schools" presented by Dr. Karen Rambo-Hernandez, Professor, Fulbright Research Chair, University of Calgary. 

This will be a virtual meeting on Google Meet and is open to GATE and non-GATE parents. This parent education session will be followed by a short general meeting for members of the GPA. If you have a student registered in GATE for this current school year, you are a member of the GPA.
